For those avoiding alcohol this Christmas why not try making some sparkling pomegranate punch!
One of the oldest known fruits, the pomegranate has been revered as a symbol of health and fertility. Pomegranate contain a high level of polyphenols and flavonoids which are powerful antioxidants. They also contain vitamin C, vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid), folic acid along with a good amount of vitamin A, vitamin E and Fibre.
Consuming Pomegranate on a regular basis is thought to improve and help balance oestrogen and progesterone levels in women. There are currently trials taking place by the National Institutes of Health into the effect of Pomegranate/Juice on male infertility.
